From February 24^th to March 17^th, Michele Mariotti returns to the Teatro alla Scala in Milan to conduct the masterpiece of Christoph Willibald Gluck Orphée et Euridice, for the first time on stage at the Piermarini in the French version.

The production, coming from the Royal Opera House in London, is signed by John Fulljames and Hofesh Shechter. Sets and costumes are by Conor Murphy, lights by Lee Curran.

Lead characters on stage are Juan Diego Flórez as Orphée, Christiane Karg as Euridice and Fatma Said – graduated from the Academy of La Scala – as Amour.

With the Hofesh Shechter Dance Company, making its debut at La Scala.
