The Teatro Donizetti and the Teatro Sociale of Bergamo are the places where the opera and concert seasons coordinated by the Department of Culture of the town of Bergamo take place. Thanks to its programs, the town has the most intense artistic offer in Lombardy, after Milan. The Opera season DoReMix (Donizetti Opera – Repertory – Miscellaneous) is directed by Francesco Micheli as part of the activities supported by the Fondazione Donizetti. The Foundation’s aim is to promote and implement studies, researches, conferences and publications about the operas written by Gaetano Donizetti, Giovanni Simone Mayr, and their contemporary musicians from the area.
