Following Anna Bolena in 2015 – for which she won the Premio Abbiati Award as Best Singer – and after the Messa da Requiem in 2017, Carmela Remigio returns to the Donizetti Opera Festival with a new debut: on November 24 at Bergamo’s Teatro Sociale she will indeed embody for the first time Amelia in Il castello di Kenilworth, the first of the three operas that Donizetti dedicated to Elizabeth I.
