Following the opening of the operatic season, Michele Mariotti will also inaugurate the 2016 Concert Season of the Teatro Comunale in Bologna on Saturday 6th of February at 8.30 pm (repeated on February 7, 6 pm), with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sinfonie n. 9 in d-Moll op. 125.

Soprano Carmela Remigio, mezzo Veronica Simeoni, tenor Michael Schade and bass Michele Pertusi will be the vocal soloists of Schiller’s popular “Ode to Joy” during the final movement.
